ABOUT
I received a BA in Drama from UC Irvine and my MA in Theatre Directing at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. In 1993 I co-produced the award-winning Northern California premiere of Peter Barnes' Red Noses. I worked with the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival for three years as an actor, director, producer, and Arts Education Administrator. I have also performed with the African-American Shakespeare Company, the American Conservatory Theater, and numerous community and educational theatre companies. A Bay Area native, I have been Theatre Arts Director at Antioch High School since 1996 and currently direct and teach theatre part-time at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. I won a Dean Goodman Choice Award for my performance as Jonathan in Sight Unseen at Playhouse West in Walnut Creek, CA and performed in the world premiere Los Angeles run of Robin Maguireās Aquarium. In 2006 I started Antioch Classical Theatre Company, bringing together union artists with students in a professional setting to create quality performances.
